Who we are

This website, computourz.co.uk, is run by Michelle Henry, providing IT and computer science training and resources to schools in Kent and Jamaica. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at computourz@outlook.co.uk.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information when you choose to give it to us – for example, if you get in touch through our contact or booking pages. This may include your name, email address, school, and the details of your message or booking request. We use this only to respond to you and arrange the training or support you’ve asked about.

Analytics

This site uses Matomo, a self-hosted analytics tool installed on our own server. No visit data is shared with Google or any other third party. Matomo records anonymised information such as which pages you view, your approximate location (country/city, from your IP address), and your device and browser type. It does not collect your name or email address.

Opt-out complete; your visits to this website will not be recorded by the Web Analytics tool. Note that if you clear your cookies, delete the opt-out cookie, or if you change computers or Web browsers, you will need to perform the opt-out procedure again.

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.

Who we share your data with

How long we keep your data

We keep enquiry and booking messages for as long as needed to respond to you, and typically no longer than 24 months afterwards, after which they’re deleted. Analytics data collected by Matomo is kept in anonymised form for statistical purposes.

Your rights over your data

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it. To do this, contact us at computourz@outlook.co.uk.

Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
