How to spot phishing
- The sender’s address looks almost right, but not quite (a misspelling, extra letter, or wrong domain).
- It creates urgency — “act now”, “your account will be suspended”, “claim within 24 hours”.
- It asks you to click a link and enter a password or personal details.
- It offers something too good to be true, like a free prize you never entered for.
- When unsure: don’t click, don’t reply — tell a trusted adult or teacher.
